StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void is a standalone expansion pack for the incredibly popular military sci-fi RTS, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. This is the final part of the StarCraft II trilogy that was developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Legacy of the Void was released on November 10th, 2015.

This expansion brings new units to the game and various multiplayer changes. The game's story continues through the campaign that now focuses on the technologically advanced Protoss race. Artanis is now the focus and the protagonist of the final part of the story of the StarCraft II trilogy.

Players will engage in another thrilling and challenging single-player campaign that brings an even number of missions, like the last two expansion before this one did. We will control the Protoss character Artanis and see the story of the Khalai Protoss hierarchy and the Nerazim (also known as the Dark Templar) unfold. As in the previous two games, you have the briefing room that allows the players to interact and explore on board the Spear of Adun, a huge Protoss Arc ship. The Celestial Array allows you to access missions, as it is basically the Protoss version of the Star Map. The goal of Artanis is to unite all the members of the Protoss race to face the sinister Amon, a fallen Xel'Naga that wants to change the entire universe and reshape it into his own twisted image.
