Injustice 2 is an action-packed fighting video game that was developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game is the sequel to 2013's Injustice: Gods Among Us. Injustice 2 was released in May 2017 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while the Microsoft Windows version came at a later date, on November 2017.
Injustice 2 features the same core gameplay as the first game, but the game mechanics have been finetuned to bring a better overall experience. This title also brings in various new features for the players to enjoy, such as the Gear System. This is a loot-dropping system that gives you both equipment and costume pieces for your favorite characters. Costume pieces are purely cosmetic, and they don't affect the gameplay, but equipment directly modifies the stats and abilities of the characters in order to increase their power. While most other fighting games of this sort don't have an RPG-style progression system, this one uses it to its utmost capacity so that your characters get stronger over time as you find better equipment.
Between all of these brilliant new features, Injustice 2 also features an excellently presented and written storyline. After the events of the last game, Batman is doing everything in his power to restore society to the way it was before Superman's rule. But, there is a new threat approaching. The supervillains have formed their new vile group, and they call it "The Society", but they aren't the only new threat. Brainiac has arrived, and amongst all these new dangers, Batman thinks about releasing Superman, as he is the only one that can help him deal with all these new enemies.
