Gray Dawn has a mechanic where the player's character enters a strange kind of trance whenever the boy is mentioned or when you're accused of murder. In this horrifying moments, players get to see repulsion towards their God, terrible gore, and an alluring voice that is creating false images inside your mind.  The game is set in the year 1920, in an obscure village in England. As you play the game, you also get transported to the mystical world of Romania which has been inspired by mysticism found in Eastern Europe.
