Note: Requires the base game World of Warcraft on Battle.net in order to play.
The sinister threat of the Legion has been dealt with, but what kind of price did Azeroth pay for the resolve of that conflict? The world can recover over time, but the trust between the Horde and the Alliance was shattered, and it may never be repaired. The classical conflict of Horde versus Alliance is back once again in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, and it's up to the player to decide which side they are going to pick. See where your allegiance lies, and then do your best to slay your enemies.
A new age of warfare is here, and in order to get an advantage over the enemy, the heroes of Azeroth need to go on a brand new journey to find new allies, claim the most important resources found on Azeroth, and wage war on several different fronts to see which side gets to lead Azeroth into a better future, the Horde or the Alliance.
World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth raises the level cap from 110 to 120. New continents (Kul Tiras and Zandalar) are available for players to explore. Find new quests to do and earn spectacular rewards, take on new dungeons and raids with your friends. Engage in exciting warfronts which are a 20-player PvE mode where players get to fight NPCs from the opposing factions. Be the first one to explore unknown islands filled with many treasures and foes that guard them.
See how the conflict between the Alliance and Horde escalates after the events of the previous expansion where the titan Sargeras got imprisoned but drove his maleficient sword into the planet of Azeroth before going down.
