That's right, The Amazing Spider-Man is an extension to the movie. Meaning you'll not just battle foes from the film like The Lizard, you'll actually get to fight new villains and bring yourself new bits of story that shows off who Spider-man is!
Plus, the city of Manhattan is yours for the exploring! Websling around buildings, or climb up them to show what you can do, the whole city is your oyster, see what's inside. But be warned, there is danger in this city, and as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man it's your duty to stop them. Use the special Web Rush ability to sneak up on foes and take them out. Or, you can use your webshooters to pin them to objects!
Add to that, the city is full of things you can do, and you can actively choose what you do. Want to stop a nearby crime? Accept and do it! Or, if you're in the middle of a mission, decline it and get to your other task.
