The Roguelike genre is one of the more popular genres in video games in recent years. But now, a new version of the Roguelike is coming, one that takes cues from another popular gaming genre, Metroidvania. When these two mix you'll get an intense action 2D platforming Roguelike game known simply as: Dead Cells.

What makes Dead Cells so special? First, let's talk about the world itself. Just like a Metroidvania game, the entire game world is known to you from the beginning.
