Francis, the character you play as, is the lead investigator of the Darkside Division, which is currently underfunded as all hell but he keeps doing his job regardless. Is it to protect the innocent from demonic forces? Maybe, maybe he just likes taking on cases that no one dares to take. He's brave, smart, witty, and quite charming. One wonders why he just doesn't find another job.
