Destiny 2 is the sequel to Destiny. The sequel is also a multiplayer first-person shooter that was developed by Bungie and then published by Activision. The game was first released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 6th, 2017, and the following month it was also released for Microsoft Windows.
Destiny 2 is set in a mythic science fiction world with beautiful sci-fi environments and multiplayer "shared-world" that contains various RPG elements like live events. Players are so-called Guardians, the protectors of the last safe city on Earth. They can use a special power called the Light which they use to protect the Last City from various alien races. But, once a warlord named Dominus Ghaul, the leader of the Cabal race, strips the Guardians of their Light, he manages to invade and conquer theLast City.
Players then embark on an epic journey to rediscover their Light and look for a way to take on Ghaul and take back their city.
As was the case in the first game, the activities in Destiny 2 are either PvE-based or PvP-based. There are various normal story missions in the game, but you also have three-player "Strikes" and six-player raids for more intense PvE experiences. Destiny 2 also has various public events and activities that were not present in Destiny.
As far as the PvP goes, there are various objective-based modes that you can play, as well as your typical deathmatch game modes. Unlike the previous game, the game's PvP modes all feature 4v4 matches.
