Children of Morta is a creative action RPG that takes a rogue-lite approach to character development in which you play an entire, remarkable family of heroes rather than a single character. Hack'n'slash your way through hordes of adversaries in dynamically created dungeons, caves, and lands as you lead the Bergson family, flaws and all, against the impending Corruption.

Children of Morta KEY GAMEPLAY FEATURES:

• ONLINE CO-OP is now available in the game, allowing you to play with a long-distance friend! The Online Co-op option, available in both Story and Family Trials modes, will enable you to team up and face Corruption side by side. Local Co-op is also an option!
• GAMEPLAY - The gameplay is a unique blend of action-adventure RPG, rogue-lite, and hack and slash. You develop individual individuals and the entire family by leveling up. There is no permadeath, and family members can be changed between dungeon runs.
• STORY

The story takes place in a faraway nation. Yet, it deals with universal themes and emotions: love and hope, longing and uncertainty, ultimately loss... and the sacrifices we are prepared to make to safeguard those we love the most. Finally, it's about a family of heroes battling the advancing evil.

• CRAWLING IN DUNGEONS

All of the dungeons in the game are randomly generated; thus, their layout changes with each expedition. Each dungeon can have two to four levels, with a unique boss encounter at the conclusion. You can always return to last dungeons for more XP or to complete all side quests.

• SKILLS & CHARACTERS

Ranged attacks, magic spells, blocks, stuns, healing, evasions, and passive talents are available for learning, unlocking, and improving. You can select from seven distinct family members, each with their own skills. John, the father, is a protecting warrior armed with a sword and shield. Linda, the oldest daughter, is a skilled archer. Kevin is a quiet combatant armed with lethal daggers. Lucy is a fiery and daring fire mage. Mark is a disciplined martial artist. Joey is a sledgehammer-wielding character. And the family's newest member, Apan, is both a powerful healer and staunch defender.
