Katherine is a girl that wants to wed Vincent one day. Catherine, the mysterious blonde that appeared out of nowhere also desires him. Both of them are pulling Vincent's heart and soul, and only by making certain decisions can you help Vincent decide and reach the conclusion of this romantic horror game that continues to surprise throughout. Create a path to climb a hellish tower by moving blocks around and escape the clutches of the monsters that are chasing him. Players need to constantly be on the move as the lowest levels of blocks fall as time passes, so you can't slow down.

The settings in Catherine Classic change each night and the new stages become more and more difficult. All kinds of traps and obstacles lie in wait, like sheep which also want to survive until morning and that will get in your way and even try to push you off. There are three game modes: Golden Playhouse (the story mode), Babel (the game mode which can be played alone or in local co-op where you take on the challenges of the tower for high scores), and the Colosseum (local multiplayer where you can race against other players and show them that you're the better climber).
