When you die in video games, it's mean to represent failure. After all, when you die you usually have to start over from either a checkpoint or in the worst case scenario, you have to start all over again.. For those who see death in a more positive light, it can sometimes teach you the motions and events that need to happen for you to advance. But then, there's games like Rude Bear Resurrection, a platforming game where death can be viewed as a literal stepping stone to victory, because your bodies can literally become those stepping stone.
You are Rude Bear, a gangster bear from East London who finds himself in Medieval England with one goal: Defeat his nemesis the Wizard. However, The Wizard isn't within reach, and you have to traverse a LOT of obstacles to get to him, many of which will likely cause you to die. But fear not, for your body doesn't disappear, in fact, it stays where it is, and you can use it to get past an obstacle.
Got impaled on something? Well, now your past body is there to use to get across it. Having a rough time against a boss? Use your former body as a shield to block attacks so you can go in for the kill! Rude Bear Resurrection will have you truly thinking outside of the box (and your body) to find creative solutions to your problems.
And if you REALLY want a challenge, the entire game can be beaten without losing a single life. Oh yeah, it can happen.
