Civilization VI is the sixth entry in the mainline Civilization franchise which was created by game designer Sid Meier. Your job in this game is the same as in the previous titles, and that is to create an empire that will stand the test of time and emerge victorious in the end.
Your goal is to become the most dominant force in the world as you lead a civilization from the Stone Age all through to the Information Age. Use whatever means you can to establish a strong foothold in the world. You can advance your culture, you can dive deep into science, or you can be a war-loving warmonger. The choice is yours and yours alone. Other great leaders will compete with you on this quest, and time will prove which of you was the most ruthless and cunning World Leader.
Civilization VI has many new ways for you to interact with your world. Your cities now physically expand across the map, the research you do in technology and culture reveal new potential, and as always, other leaders will do their own thing all based on their historical traits. It's a race to see who can reach one of the five available win conditions.
