Livelock is a co-op top-down shooter set in a world where machines are locked in perpetual war. The game was developed by Tuque Games and published by Perfect World Entertainment on August 30th, 2016.
You are one of the only remaining Capital Intellects and the only one that is capable of unlocking Eden and bringing humanity back from the grave. The ongoing war between machines has to stop at all costs, but the question is, do you have what it takes to fulfill your destiny? Livelock is a game that can be experienced alone or with up to 2 other players. The gameplay gets to shine once there are three people play, each controlling one of the three available mechanical chassis, the Catalyst, the Hex, and the Vanguard. Your opponents are cunning, cold, and calculating mechanical robots that will do everything they can to get rid of you and stop you from achieving your objective.
Catalyst is a drone commander that uses its units to crush the enemy. Tactical thinking and impressive leadership are the traits most commonly associated with this mechanical chassis, as the Catalyst kills with efficiency and calculated assaults.
Hex is a mechanical chassis that focuses on intense targeted damage. Precise and deadly weapons are used to tear enemies apart swiftly and without mercy, and all kinds of agile tools let Hex avoid any kind of unnecessary close combat with the enemy.
Vanguard is the melee-centric chassis, capable of utterly destroying any kind of foe with his giant hammer and heavy fists. Armored and strong, the Vanguard isn't the fastest thing on the battlefield, but it's the most resilient one.
