Cities: Skylines - Industries is another in-depth expansion for the complex city builder that aims to make the industry a more active and meaningful part of the game.
The emphasis on industry allows the players to follow their products from harvesting to processing. Store the resources you harvested and processed, turn them into a product, and then either transport them to various commercial zones or even to other cities. Use the industry area tool to find a place where your specialized industrial buildings will get constructed. You are also the one that manages the production chain and all of its phases from material extraction to the makings of the final product. There are four types of Industry Areas: Ore, Oil, Farming, and Forest. These are based on the natural resources that are being processed there.
Make Warehouse Facilities, Processing and Auxiliary Buildings, Roads, Extractors, and so on. Use Unique Factories to create luxury products such as food, toys, cars, electronics, furniture, and more. Make use of the new Cargo Services and also manage traffic and logistics with industrial warehouses. Mail Delivery and collection services will make your citizens happy.
Industrial areas can now be customized in all kinds of ways by using supply chains for the four different resource types. If your industry area is doing well, it will level up and become even more efficient. This expansion also has a new city service that handles mail, and the cargo airport eases the import and the export of various factory goods.
