The zombie hordes will come in waves, and monsters won't just mindlessly chase you. They will work with each other, just like you work with your allies, to try to surround you and kill you. Even if you run out of ammo, you can use the gun stock to pound enemies until they are dead. The game features several modes, such as sniper mode, survival mode, hand-to-hand combat mode, and more. Many different difficulties are also available to suit the needs of both casual and hardcore players.

ZomDay VR allows you to play with your teammates in the online mode. Create attack formations to push through the waves of monsters in front of you, or form a defensive line to stop the oncoming onslaught. Players can also buy bullets and weapons and give them to their teammates. Clearing stages and killing zombies will give you XP, and the higher level you are the more health and ammunition you will have. Make use of all kinds of Perks to help you against tougher opponents. Increase the proficiency level of your weapon by using it constantly which will in turn increase the power, the size of the clip, an the accuracy of that gun.
