The world of Warhammer is one that has transcended its original game confines and has inspired many games ever since. To the extent that the universe of Warhammer is as broad as the beings that live in it. Nowhere is this more true than with Total War: Warhammer. For this RTS title changed how you viewed the Warhammer 40k universe. And now, it's sets to get even bigger with Total War: Warhammer II. This sequel builds upon what the award-winning game did and expands it to an even grander scale.
Long ago, a conclave of Elves made a vortex, one that was designed to ensure the safety of the world by making the demonic hordes that came from the Realm of Chaos retreat to where they came from. But now, millennia later, the vortex is faltering, and many races are coming to lay their own claim to it, and decide the fate of their world.
For while some do desire the vortex to be repaired, thus keeping the world safe, others see it as an opportunity to try and get power from it, or use it to further their own goals. The High-Elves, the Lizardmen, the Dark Elves, and more all converge on the vortex, what will the fate of the world be once they reach it? That's up to you.
Total War: Warhammer II was built to be a sprawling epic in both action and story. Each race has their own tale to tell, as well as unique units to wield in combat. Play as all of them to get the complete story, and see just how different each one plays.
