Surgery is nothing to make fun of. After all, it's within the walls of OR (the Operating Room) that lives are saved and lost, and only the most skill doctors and nurses can enter it in order to save them...but...if we were to make fun of it...we'd probably do it in an over-the-top way. In this spoof of actually surgery, you play as Nigel Burke, a "would-be surgeon" who now has numerous patients lives in his hands...his very unskilled and shaky hands...
The story behind Surgeon Simulator 2013 is actually very fascinating. As it was made during a Global Game Jam in 2013. It challenged players to try and do very complicated surgery with only rudimentary tools, and the awkward controls of a keyboard! Naturally...it was a big hit. So, the team decided to go full force on it. Now, you'll be able to do even more surgeries, including ones that probably shouldn't be done at all! But hey, it's a video game.
Who said surgery can't be funny? Well, in the video game world it can be at least. Check out Surgeon Simulator 2013 and you'll see exactly what we mean. Surgery has never been this over-the-top, and you'll both laugh and cringe as you try and save lives.
Try (and fail) as you perform surgeries on patients, including ones from games like Team Fortress 2! Or operate on aliens! Because who wouldn't want to do that?
