Fighting games in video games have one of the most passionate fanbases out there. And with it comes intense rivalries as players fight over who has the best characters, the best movies, and even the best versions of a video game. So it's no surprise that developers will often make many versions of a title to give players more to fight about...in the game of course. For Street Fighter, the game usually is born alongside an arcade version that releases in Japan. But now, the arcade version is coming to consoles and PC in Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.
So, what does the Arcade Edition bring to the table? Well, first, it expands the roster of the game by four. That's right, four all-new characters are entering the ring once again via Yun, Yang, Oni and Evil Ryu. That's right, Evil Ryu, the Ryu that's fueled by the Satso Ino Hado, aka the Surge of Murderous Intent. You'll be having quite the time trying to contain him.
Plus, the team at Capcom have taken the liberty to balancing the characters of the game, meaning that the characters won't have distinct advantages over the other, thus allowing player skill to determine victories. As if that wasn't enough, the game will also feature all-new costumes for players to wear and further customize their favorite fighters.
If you haven't gotten Street Fighter IV before, you'll definitely want to get the Arcade Edition, especially since every character will be playable right out of the box! So step up, and let's do this.
