Need for Speed: ProStreet is the eleventh installment in the Need for Speed series. The game was released in November 2007.
This Need for Speed title features over 40 cars including some from the American Le Mans Series. The game took the series in a completely new direction when it comes to the racing gameplay. All of the racing that you're going to do in ProStreet will take place on closed tracks, which makes it the first title in the series (since Need for Speed II) that doesn't animate incite illegal racing.
The performance tuning feature got improved, and all body kits in the game (including wide body kits and stock bumpers) can be autosculpted. Certain adjustments that you make through autosculpt are going to affect the aerodynamics of your vehicle.
ProStreet features four distinct gaming modes. Drag (races that take place in a drag strip, they are point to point), Grip (similar to Circuit races), Speed (similar to a Sprint race), and finally, the Drift game mode. Players are going to witness intensely detailed damage modeling. Each bump or crash will be visible on the car. This brand new damage system gives the game an incredible depth of damage, as there are many objects in the world which can cause cosmetic damage to your vehicle (the bumpers, the side view mirrors, the hood, all of these can be damaged), and there is heavy damage that can affect the performance of your car. Players can also completely total their car if the impact of a crash is powerful enough.
Use your driving skills to outmaneuver your enemies and become number one in Need for Speed: ProStreet.
