BIOMUTANT is an upcoming open-world post-apocalyptic Kung Fu RPG that mixes mutations, a special martial arts combat system, shooting, exploring, and crafting to create one memorable gaming experience unlike any you've had before.

This game features a martial arts style combat system which emphasizes on freedom of movement all while being able to wield all kinds of melee and ranged weapons. Players can learn new Wushu combat forms by meeting various masters in the world or through progression. Combat constantly evolves as does your character, so fighting in BIOMUTANT never gets boring.

As the name suggests, players in BIOMUTANT can constantly change their genetic structure that affects both the way their characters look and also how they play. Bio-contamination affects your physical body and can give you spiked tails and razor-sharp mantis claws. Being exposed to radioactive elements found in the bunkers of the old world affects your mind and gives you many special psi-mutations that allow you to levitate, use telekinesis, and so on.

Crafting in this game gives the player complete freedom when it comes to all kinds of weapons, be it one-handed blades or shotguns. Create and combine many different parts in order to make your own custom weapon of choice and modify it to suit your needs. Always trying new combinations will keep you on the hunt for more toys to play with, and there are even characters in the world that can build things like bionic wings for you!

Equipment in BIOMUTANT has many uses. If you want to explore the dangerous Dead Zones you need a gas-mask and an oxygen tank. Going into cryonic areas isn't smart if you don't own any thermos-resistant clothes, and fighting bio-contamined creatures is another bad idea if you don't have protective gear on.

The world of BIOMUTANT and everything it holds is free for the player to discover. Use mechs, air-balloons, jet-skies, or even unique mounts to explore a stunning and vibrant open world. Untame wildlands, strange underworld bunker networks, and tall mountains. Every place in this world has many surprises that are waiting for those that are brave enough to dive deep into the unknown.

The End is coming to the New World, the Tree-of-Life is spreading death, and the Tribes aren't uniting unless someone strong enough appears to make them join forces or to cause an outright war between them. Go on a journey in which a Storyteller narrates every step that you take, but, the actions and choices that the players make are completely their own, and they will ultimately be the thing that decides how the story of this world and this journey ends

There are even characters you’ll meet that’ll craft cool stuff for you, like bionic wings, a jump-pack and even let you modify your Automaton - the scrap-toy sidekick!

  You are totally free when equipping your character. Not only when it comes to choosing weapons you created, but what type of gear you wear.   You are free to explore the world and what lies beneath its surface, by foot, mech, jet-ski, air-balloon or area unique mounts. There are lots of discoveries to be made, mysteries to unravel, creatures to confront and weird characters to meet in this vibrant and colorful world.
