Last Survivor is a dynamic third-person online action game in the Battle Royale genre with a melee-focused, Souls-like combat system that combines the skill, crafting, survival, and scavenging gameplay mechanics.
It is set to push the limits of its genre with its unique implementation of the various gameplay features and its detailed and original post-apocalyptic punk universe!
Balanced and advanced gameplay with a melee-focused combat system. The outcome of every battle completely depends on the player’s skills.
Apart from the system for leveling and unlocking characters and equipment, there will also be a crafting system at your disposal for making stimulators, which can strengthen or heal your character, allowing them to survive to the very end.
Want to level up a strong but slow warrior who has a multitude of battle skills and damage resistance and can take hits well? Or perhaps a fast and enduring fighter who can fight for a long time without losing stamina? The choice is yours! Collecting resources, developing skills and unlocking equipment for your character takes place on a multi-level system, where one level is global (permanent), and the other is sessional (saved only during one battle in the arena). You will not receive a big advantage, but you can diversify your gameplay in a fundamental fashion and play just like you want to—in your very own style! Want to bring a Taser gun or a stun pistol with you? Bring a few supplies with you? Or maybe you want to fundamentally change your character’s appearance? All this is also a part of this progression system!
Many other factors, such as session-based advancement, gathering, random spawn locations, random events, and etc. will make each play session unique. For example, dropping quite valuable supplies that are necessary to survival (airdrops) in random places changes the rules of the game, the priorities of the survivors in the arena and your circumstances in the most unpredictable ways!
Equipment upgrade system allows you to improve and repair you weapons, or to coat them with venom - to poison the blood of your enemies! Of course all of that needs resources that you will need to find.
Tree-like character impairment system includes many negative effects such as poisoning, bleeding, shock, stun (and more) that each in some way affect the gameplay. Be ready to loose your weapon when hit with taser or to die from bleeding!
