Funcom has shown off Conan Exiles on Xbox One prior to it’s release on the Xbox One Game Preview program on August 16th, the same day that the highly anticipated expansion entitled The Frozen North will hit both PC and Xbox One on the same day. This expansion update brings a wealth of brand new content, including the extension of the world by 70%.
The release of The Frozen North marks the beginning of Conan Exiles Early Access phase. Lawrence Poe, the head of games at Funcom, is excited at the prospect of the Xbox One version being released, after the game enjoying six months in Early Access on PC, which has seen several improvements and enhancements added to the game, along with content updates: “The launch of Xbox Game Preview paired with the release of The Frozen North expansion update marks the beginning of the second phase of Early Access for us, and the game is now bigger and better than ever.”
