WWE 2K19 Gets First Part Of Roster Revealed
One of the things that truly separates the WWE games from other sports titles is that you pick one or two characters and then fight with them using their unique set of moves and skills, and not two characters are exactly alike (barring skin changes of course). So with the WWE 2K games, it’s interesting to see who makes the roster, as each new addition brings new chances for new kinds of matches. Today, we found out a major part of the WWE 2K19 roster, and there are plenty of big names.
We already knew that AJ Styles, Ronda Rousey and Rey Mysterio (the last two as pre-order bonuses) were already in the game. But WWE had a video made showing off more wrestlers who made it in. Including: Braun Strowman, Adam Cole, Kairi Sane, Apollo Crews, Pete Dunne, Alexa Bliss, Baron Corblin, Bobby Roode, Brock Lesnar, The B-Team, Elias, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, and many, many more.
What’s important to note about this is that many of these superstars are from the NXT brand, like Adam Cole, Kairi Sane, Pete Dunne, Biannca Belair, and more. And yet they’re being announced alongside the main roster, which proves that WWE 2K19 will be a lot more balanced in who gets in and where you can play them. 205 Live also got some inclusions as well, and it’s important to note that this isn’t the full roster for the game. There’s bound to be more inclusions, and reveals of DLC characters, coming as well.
Of course, the big “get” with WWE 2K19 is the “Million Dollar Tower” mode. This is a competition where if you succeed, you could be selected as part of a group of 4 to battle one another, with the winner getting the honor of facing AJ Styles for the chance to win 1 million dollars.
The game releases October 5th.
