WWE 2K18 Gets New Patch, Switch Patch Coming Later This Week
The WWE video games have grown a lot over the last few years. The 2K series, in particular, has made it so that matches feel much more real and technical rather than just a button mashing event. And fans have been grateful. However, despite the big promotion of WWE 2K18, the game hasn’t lived up to many people’s expectations, as the game has had a number of technical issues since its release. Thankfully, 2K has been working hard to patch these technical issues up.
In a post on their official forums, 2K revealed that the latest patch for WWE 2K18 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 has released, and it fixed several issues including:
“•Fixed an issue that prevented users from deleting CAS tied to deleted Universes.
•Fixed an issue that caused PPV stars to be lost when losing internet connection
•Fixed an issue resulting in barricade piece appearing in the middle of the ring in Create-A-Video”
You may not think that’s a lot, but every fix counts in games like this, and that second one especially is a big error that most definitely needed to be fixed. Now, you might have noticed that the Nintendo Switch version of the game was not listed in that patch. Well, the game is going to be getting its own patch this Thursday, here’s what 2K had to say about that:
“This patch will be to catch up the Switch with Patches that have released on XB1 and PS4.”
Not exactly the most informative detail, but an important one none the less. For despite the hype behind WWE 2K18 coming to the Nintendo Switch, when the game released, it was easily the most bug-filled version of the game. Some even deemed it “unplayable” because of the bugs. Hopefully this upcoming patch fixes that.
