Worlds Adrift Gets A Player Council
Modern MMORPGs don’t have anything like Player Councils, but they used to have them way back in the day. But, there are games that are unlike the rest, like Worlds Adrift that just got its first Community Cloud Council.
Bossa Studios have announced the arrival of the Community Cloud Council this weekend, and the first 10 players that are a part of this council have been picked by the developers. They are players that have been hand-picked in order to help streamline the feedback from the player base, but later down the line players themselves will get to vote for the person that they want to enter the council. The members right now were chosen because they have honest and constructive feedback on the game’s development, so we understand why they got picked.
Having an MMORPG where you can have a thing such as a player council is awesome, as players love to feel important in their games. And what makes you feel more important and special than being in a council that only a few get to join? Add the fact that later down the line other players can vote for you to get admitted into the council, so if you have a lot of fans that want to see you in charge, that will happen. Being a member of the CCG in Worlds Adrift also means that you’re going to get some cool limited edition items from Worlds Adrift and Bossa Studios, but once you’re a member you also have to sign an NDA agreement and that sort of stuff.
