Worlds Adrift Flies Into Early Access
What’s a better way to draw attention to your title than to organize the very first live stream that’s being held in the sky? Yes, this is something that happened, as the developers of Worlds Adrift decided that there’s no better way to celebrate the launch of their title into Early Access than to do something that would be fitting for a game where you have flying ships, so they organized the world’s very first airborne stream.
This sandbox full of flying ships got the best Early Access launch we have ever seen. Where else would you find developers crazy enough to gather some players and then launch them into London’s sky so that they could play the game with hyper immersion? It’s like if someone making a shooter put their players on a battlefield. Ok, that was an extreme example, but you get our point. This was an excellent public stunt, and we do hope that a lot of people find out about it as its absolutely spectacular. On the Worlds Adrift official post the developers said:
Worlds Adrift is now releasing to Steam Early Access! This means we have opened up additional servers for both US and EU regions, and will release more servers depending on player population. The UI for the character creation screen has been adjusted to make it easier to pick a server to play on.
More servers are always welcome, and this latest patch also wiped out all existing accounts so that everyone starts out fresh, we also got exciting new music, new islands, new clothing items, and more.
