After four days of hard battling, through two groups of players and 12 teams looking to reach this year’s final at Blizzcon, we now know who emerged victorious at the World of Warcraft North America Arena Championship.
Four days of nail-biting action filled with steely determination, heartbreaking eliminations and glorious victories, Method Synergy came out on top of an epic competition. The North America Arena Championship saw teams seeded and placed into two groups, as the battle got underway over the course of 96 hours.
Panda Global came up against underdogs Sneaky Snakes, with the latter winning with their ‘jungle cleave’ composition of Feral Druid, Marksman Hunter and Disc Priest. It wouldn’t take long for Panda Global to adapt themselves to the fight, who won the final three games after bringing out their trio of Warrior, Death Knight and Demon Hunter to move onto the final.
Method: Synergy meanwhile faced off against Splyce in what was the most anticipated match of the competition. The five-game series was edged by Method: Synergy, with both team getting themselves locked in a competitive Death Knight composition.
The best-of-seven final between Method: Synergy vs Panda Global wasn’t quite so close, with the former putting on an impressive performance to come out as 4-0 winners to take the Championship and go onto the finals at this year’s Blizzcon.
