Hey there, have you watched a zombie movie by the name of World War Z? It had Brad Pit in it, so you surely heard of it. Well, whatever the case may be, we are also getting a game with the same name, but not the same story. The movie introduced these “zombies” as highly violent, fast, and deadly creatures, which often come in hordes which are capable of doing some truly terrifying things. Judging from the trailer, it looks like your typical co-op shooter where you’re fighting against waves of enemies, so let’s hope that there’s more to this title then meets the eye.
“We shed this blood in the name of mercy”, well, this statement is actually fighting itself, but aside from the really cheesy dialogue, World War Z is looking like a plain, average co-op zombie shooter. Things that could make it different from others aren’t present in the trailer, but we do see zombies piling up on each other in order to make a way for other zombies to reach high places. That is something that we saw in the movie, and it could end up being a really interesting mechanic if they manage to pull it off effectively.
Other than that, the only other impressive thing in the trailer is the number of zombies that we see on the screen at the same time, which also probably means that you’re going to need a beast of a PC in order to run this on higher settings.
