Winter Solstice has arrived for Dead by Daylight, and will bring a wealth of festive content to the asymmetrical horror game.
Three new achievements have been added for players to earn, which includes Get-Together, Milk ‘n’Cookies and Happy Holidays. There’s also a Winter skin that has been applied to Mystery Boxes within the Bloodweb, which will appear at every level and will contain new rewards. Other inclusions are higher rarities for the regular mystery box rewards, with multiple versions of mystery boxes having cheaper costs for bloodpoints.
It wouldn’t be a winter themed event without some festive implementations, and that is exactly what we are getting with themed head customizations for all of the original killers in the game. There’s also a themed skin for barrels, lockers and hooks in all levels. Other variations include a Chinese Firecracker item, which can be found within chests in the bloodweb, as well as new menu and lobby music to get you into the winter season. You can expect to see snow piles, lanterns, blinking lights and even a snowman knocking around in both the menu and lobbies for that extra festive touch.
