Will Xbox One Version Of No Man’s Sky Bring Co-Op Play?
No Man’s Sky is going to go down in history as a game that had a lot of potential, and a lot of hype, but didn’t live up to either. The title from Hello Games promised everyone a universe to explore and go to in many different ways. And to that end, you could. You were put in one part of the galaxy and what you did next was up to you. The problem was, there wasn’t much to do, and gamers noticed that once they got the game.
The backlash from the title was huge, so much so that Hello Games basically went silent for a year until they released a major update that fixed many problems the game had at launch. But, not everything was fixed, and some promises were still unkept.
However, a leak has come out for the Xbox One box art of No Man’s Sky, check it out below:
Notice anything? In the original box art of the game, there was only one character on the box. Now, there are four. What’s more, they are color coated. Many are taking this as a sign that co-op will finally become a part of the game.
Ironically, Hello Games did say there would be multiplayer in No Man’s Sky when it was making the rounds before release, but then, it didn’t happen. More than that, the game didn’t even acknowledge other players. As two people once stood on the same spot in the same universe and couldn’t see the other. This may finally be changing.
To be clear, this hasn’t been confirmed yet, everyone, including us, is making a guess based on what we see in the cover art. You have to admit though, it’s very compelling.
Also, since it’s coming to Xbox, it’s possible we’ll hear about this during E3 2018.
