Asymmetric 4vs1 horror games appear to be a popular trend emerging from that particular scene in the gaming universe, and it continues to move forward with the release of White Noise 2, which is now available on Xbox One.
Serving as the follow up to White Noise, this sequel offers true co-operative gameplay in a terrifying environment, as a group of investigators search for clues to solve a mystery, unaware of the deadly creature that stalks them. Teamwork will be vital in the game, as falling behind will leave you completely vulnerable, so be sure to stick together. The dark environment will betray you at every turn, so staying with your team will be a task in itself as your senses are well and truly put to the test.
As for the creature, you will be tasked with finding the investigators by following their trails and luring them in using traps, all the while avoiding being spotted as you are vulnerable to light once discovered.
Expect to see all the improvements present in the Xbox One version as they are in the Steam version, which is now available with 55 updates since it launched on Early Access. With seven playable areas, over 10 investigators with unique perks and four creatures, this is definitely one to check out for horror fans.
