We won’t be getting the Battle for Azeroth expansion for quite a while, but Blizzard is giving us bits and pieces of the new expansion, in order to build up the hype of course. We now got a closer look at two of the new Allied Races that are coming with the expansion, and they are the Mag’har Orcs which are on the side of the Horde, and the Dark Iron Dwarves which are on the side of the Alliance. They also showed us which classes these races can use and what their racial traits are.
Let’s start things off with the Dark Iron Dwarves, which once served Ragnaros the Firelord, a fact that makes them really questionable allies, but the Alliance needs all the help that they can get in their struggle against the Horde. This race can use the following classes: Hunter, Mage, Monk, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior. The racials of the Dark Iron Dwarves allow them to purge debuffs from them, move faster inside dungeons, craft faster, and more.
The orcish clan of Mag’har was strong, even in the most difficult times when Gul’dan offered them demonic blood, they refused and managed to drive off the Burning Legion away from their home. Now that the war against the Alliance keeps getting more and more intense, the Mag’har clan will join the fray. This race has the following classes available to them: Hunter, Mage, Monk, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warrior. Their racials allow them to summon their ancestors to aid them in battle, they have increased flight speed outdoors, their pets have increased health, and more.
