Wasteland 3 Gets A Gameplay Trailer And A Release Date
Wasteland 3 is here to show us once again how you create a gritty, violent, and incredibly compelling post-apocalyptic RPG.
Wasteland 2 was an outstandingly impressive post-apocalyptic RPG. I don’t think I had any gripes with it, even though I unfortunately only played through it once. Well, while I wait for May 19th, 2020, and Wasteland 3, I think I will play it again.
The gameplay trailer for the third game in the Wasteland series is here. As expected, it is dark, brutal, filled with violence, despair, and sorrow. A proper post-apocalyptic world if I may say so myself. The original Wasteland game was the thing that inspired Bethesda to make the first Fallout game. You can then already tell what kind of world and atmosphere and characters await in Wasteland 3. This is an RPG title that you start playing and you find yourself chained to your PC. When did it happen? Who knows, let’s just solve more morally-questionable tasks for miserable people and get our hands on more strangely advanced weapons. That’s the whole point I think.
The Wasteland games pull of an old-school type of RPG vibe. You have a party and a broken world ahead of you full of broken people. Loot, fighting, and lots of talking await as well. Wasteland 3 doesn’t seem like it’s changing up that formula, but that’s fine. InExile perfected the formula so there’s no reason to experiment a lot.
Whoever did not play the previous installment in the Wastelands series needs to rectify that right this second. Thankfully, I can offer you a Wasteland 2 PC game key on HRK Game. The price is low, so you best buy it and immerse yourself in some extraordinary post-apocalyptic RPG goodness.
