Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Gets Modding Support
You know what’s the greatest thing about having a game on the PC? Modding support, the greatest gift to PC players, the thing we are most grateful about, and that gift just arrived in Warhammer: Vermintide 2. In the latest patch for this multiplayer rat slayer simulator, the developers brought us new content in the form of Daily Quests, some new skins, hats, and other cosmetics, and modding support. This is a way to give your player base a certain kind of freedom where they get to create content on their own and even share it with other players, and this is one of the things that gives longevity to PC titles.
As far as the Daily Quests are concerned, which are called Okri’s Challenges, the developers said this in their official patch notes:
Have a look at the table next to Lohner – here you’ll find both Daily Quests, and Challenges. These tasks span the whole range of difficulties, and give you rewards in the form of loot chests, skins, hats, and portrait frames.
For most of these challenges, everyone starts fresh. You might be a veteran with hundreds of hours in the game, or you bought the game today – everyone starts from scratch with Okri’s Challenges.
Now, as far as the mods are concerned, the Steam Workshop for Vermintide 2 is now open, and this is where you get to look for mods and download those that you like. Just keep in mind that they can be only applied in the Modded Realm of the game.
