Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Pits The Player And Friends Against Chaos
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is another co-op title where you and your buddies get to take on frenzied Chaos cultists in the grim future.
Tired of fighting stinky rats with swords and magic? Don’t worry, Fatshark has another stellar co-op experience for you where you fight stinky Chaos cultists with swords and guns. Hmm, I’m starting to see a pattern here. But enough jokes, Fatshark does know how to make a visceral and satisfying combat system, as they did with the Vermintide games. Now I’m just curious to see how well the gunplay is going to feel. This time we’re also going into the future. Unlike the previous games that were set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world that was pretty much medieval, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide steps into a grim new setting. Aliens. corrupted humans, vicious mechanical foes. A lot of terrifying stuff that the Empire has to deal with.
The Warhammer universe has a lot of enemies to offer in the 40K rendition, but Chaos always remains the primary antagonist. Humans and Chaos just can’t get enough of each other, and they regularly clash. This time we’re playing as the Imperial Guard, at least according to the trailer which you can watch below:
If you’re familiar with the Imperial Guard, you understand that this trailer is just perfect. I’m looking forward to this game and I hope it’s as frantic and crazed as their previous co-op titles. What do you think about Darktide? Too similar to their previous games or is it new enough to try out? Let me know in the comments section down below!
