It is always great to see the coming together and combination of board games and video games. This is exactly what has come to Steam today, with the release of Warbands: Bushido.
This is a miniatures board game arena packed with cards, miniatures, dice, and all set around a beautiful set of terrains to do battle on. Both single-player and multiplayer battles will be available to you, depending on how you choose to approach the game.
In terms of visuals, Warbands: Bushido has an isometric, tabletop-style look with characters in a miniature style of effect, plus cards, dice, pre-rendered battlefields and story-mode scenarios. The game will feature over 50 various paintable heroes and units, which are planned for the full-scale release as well as additions in the future.
If multiplayer is your thing, then the skirmishes will give you the platform to test out your skills in traditional tabletop wargame fashion in the style of the likes of Warmachine, whilst offering up fast-paced gameplay similarly seen in the popular Blizzard card game Hearthstone. As for the single-player, this will focus more on characters and events, which are massively inspired by classic tactical turn-based RPGs.
Warbands: Bushido is now available on Steam.
