The immersive first-person horror game Don’t Knock Twice is now available on Steam. The game, which offers VR support on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, tells the tale of a guilt-ridden mother attempting to uncover the truth behind her estranged daughter.
Players will traverse a grand manor house to reveal the meaning of an urban tale of a “vengeful, demonic witch,” where they will be able to interact with practically every item that they come across. Search for hidden clues deep in the manor, and decide between fight or flight as you encounter the horror that engulfs you.
The game was developed alongside the 2017 horror film, Don’t Knock Twice, starring Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff. It has been designed to be played with or without a VR device, so don’t worry if you don’t have one in your possession. Regardless of which way you decide to play, you will only have to purchase the game once, and will be given the option of VR and non-VR when you start the game. If you do choose VR, additional features will be available to you including distance grabbing (or “stretchy hands”) in Oculus VR mode, as well as One-Click 90 degree flip buttons on the same platform.
