Dragon Ball FighterZ fans can finally rejoice, for the character they’ve been wanting to see in the game for some time has finally be confirmed. Vegito Blue, also known as Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegito, has been revealed as the next DLC character in the game. This reveal came via the latest issue of V-Jump, where a massive spread of the character was shown. Vegito Blue has been teased for some time, especially given a leak that has been accurate so far in terms of who’s going to be in the game next.
For those who don’t know the lore, here’s a bit of background on Vegito Blue. Back in the Majin Buu saga, Goku and Vegeta were some of the only Z-Fighters left who could take on Majin Buu. The Supreme Kai gave them an option to fuse together to become even more powerful, they took it, and fused to become Vegito. They were later separated after they were eaten by Buu.
Fast forward to Dragon Ball Super, Vegito returned, this time to face the evil of Fused Zamasu (who was also revealed for Dragon Ball FighterZ). Though Vegito didn’t beat him, he did weaken him enough for Future Trunks to win.
Bandai Namco did a tweet yesterday teasing the arrival of Vegito, even giving out a string of numbers that separated with spaces correctly pointed out the first appearance of Vegito.
As the sheet above shows, Vegito will have his Final Kamehameha attack, as well as a Dramatic Finish should he be put up against Fused Zamasu.
At present, there is no release date for him, but it’s very possible that he’ll come packaged with Fused Zamasu, that would be ironic, wouldn’t it? Either way though, FighterZ is about to get some more super powerful, and super unique, characters, and fans should be thrilled.
