It isn’t the first time that we’ve seen a crossover between two Blizzard franchises, and it certainly isn’t likely to be the last. In this particular instance, two popular Overwatch characters will be heading over to fellow Blizzard product Heroes of the Storm, with Ana and Junkrat joining up with the MOBA.
Blizzard is yet to reveal just how either Ana or Junkrat will be brought into the game at this time, though it is worth keeping in mind that Junkrat is considered to be a defensive character in the popular shooter Overwatch, whose attacks are capable of dealing a lot of splash damage to say the least.
As for Ana, she is a support character in Overwatch, so it would make sense to take her healing abilities over the Heroes of the Storm. Both characters will join up with other hero skins such as Commandant Varian, Destroyer D.Va and Shrike Ana, who will play on the new Volskaya Foundry map.
The new characters taking part in the crossover are likely to become part of the public test realm at some point before they are fully introduced to the main game, though Blizzard are yet to reveal exactly when then is likely to be, so stay tuned for more news.
