Square Enix and Disney have both revealed a brand new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III, which shows the series head to Disney Pixar film Toy Story for the first time in the series.
The new trailer sees Sora, Goofy and Donald Duck to Andy’s room, teaming up with the likes of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Hamm and Sarge as they investigate missing toys and Andy. This comes with a unique and original storyline, in which fans will be treated to all new toys, themed looks and special keyblades that can transform and add new attacks to Sora’s arsenal.
“At long last, we are excited to open up the Kingdom Hearts universe to include the world of Disney Pixar’s ‘Toy Story,’” Tetsuya Nomura, Director of the Kingdom Hearts series stated. “I’m sure fans have been anticipating the inclusion of this world for many years. The narrative will be an original story exclusive to Kingdom Hearts III, and the gameplay will feel characteristic of the ‘Toy Story’ style and aesthetic”
