Total War: Rome Remastered reveals the system requirements needed to run this classic strategy in a brand new light.
Total War: Rome is a strategy classic, one buried in the past. That doesn’t mean that it can’t be dug up, refreshed up a bit, and then sold as a prettier version of its deceased original body. Quite a strange way to describe a game that received visual improvement with some new content, I know, But that’s how I see remasters. Profiting by putting makeup on a dead game.
Then again, it lets newer generations experience classics like this for the first time. In a playable state with intuitive controls, a better UI, and overall many quality-of-life additions that make the whole experience a lot more enjoyable. Total War: Rome Remastered brings stunning 4K together with 16 new playable factions. So there’s something for veterans of the series to enjoy and try out.
But, the interesting part is the system requirements shown in the FAQ which seem less demanding than the previous ones show:
