Those of you that want more dread and zombies from the Resident Evil 2 Remake are getting it in February with three free DLC stories.
It’s safe to say that the Resident Evil 2 Remake is one of the biggest surprises of 2019. What a great time to start the year off, with a horror game about zombies and horrifying mutants. Well, that’s what the Resident Evil franchise is all about, and they nailed every aspect of the original game and added more to the gameplay in the remake, turning it into one of the best survival horror games available as of this moment.
Capcom is feeling generous, as fans can expect to get three free “what if” stories, one that focuses on a gun owner, another that focuses on the mayor’s daughter, and the third one focuses on Hunk, an extremely awesome soldier. We’re getting these for free, so we don’t know how good they will be, but all we have to do is wait to find out.
As you can already see in the image above, the mayor’s daughter story is definitely going to be scary. We can already imagine those disgusting creatures with the big claws and exposed brain crawling everywhere. Those things were much scarier to us than Mister X, who seems like a nice guy that just does his job, but everyone seems to be terrified of him. He doesn’t bite or scratch you, he just punches you really hard.
The third story focuses on Hunk, one of the mercenaries that works for Umbrella. He’s quite a cool guy, and fans are already very happy to see a “what if” story with him in the center.
These stories are called No Time to Mourn (the first one to come on February 15th), Runaway, and Forgotten Soldier.
