The Witcher Event Is Now Live In Monster Hunter: World
If you wanted to play as the best monster hunter in Monster Hunter: World, now you’ll get that chance with this crossover event!
The crossover between Monster Hunter: World and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt happened quite a while ago on the console version of the game. PC users had to wait, but now it is here. Now you will finally be able to play as the most skilled monster hunter ever in a game that’s all about hunting down monsters.
That’s right, Geralt of Rivia makes his way to Monster Hunter: World, along with some new weapons, costumes, and quests to solve. Trouble in the Ancient Forest is a permanent new contract that players can enjoy. But, you have to be a Hunter Rank 16 or higher in order to attempt it. Once you start doing the quest, you actually play as Geralt for a bit while you’re investigating some monster-related trouble, as per usual. His sword and shield look similar to the ones he has in Wild Hunt. Guess that’s an extra layer of continuity that’s always welcome in crossover events like this one.
Contract: Woodland Spirit, on the other hand, isn’t permanent. This is Ciri’s part of the event, where you have to team up with others in order to slay a powerful creature. Do that and you’ll get materials needed to create the
“Ciri α” full armor set and the “Zireael” dual blades. This contract starts on May 17th and ends on May 30th, so there’s plenty of time to earn some cool new weapons and armor.
