When did Blizzard fail to excite you with various events and goodies that come along with them? This time, Overwatch players can look forward to new skins, emotes, sprays, icons, highlight intros, and more.
Lúcioball is back, and well, a lot of people are excited but also disappointed at the same time. Why would they be disappointed you might ask. Well, we already played Lúcioball, and the name of the event is Summer Games, not Summer Game. So where are the other games then Blizzard? Sure, we did get a lot of awesome skins, including GRIDIRONHARDT, WAVERACER, FASTBALL, BIKER, and more cool skins from the past. But, that doesn’t mean that we will only be satisfied with one new game mode, especially one that we’ve played in the past.
Those of you that aren’t familiar to the Lúcioball mode that you can now play in Overwatch, let us explain. It is a competitive futuristic spin on your average soccer match where three players take on three other players and try to score. Everyone uses Lucio and tries their best to outmaneuver their opponents. It is a fun game mode, and Blizzard even introduced Copa Lúcioball, which has leaderboards, competitive points, placement matches, skill rating tiers, and more.
Still, it isn’t a new mode, and we were all looking forward to something fresh and exciting.
