Let’s get one thing out of the way, this is an Elder Scrolls game, so no matter the platform it’s on, you will feel like you’re inside of an Elder Scrolls universe. Now, who in their right minds would make this game when you already have Skyrim out for Switch? Nevermind, this just means more filler for us to use before we get TES VI. Anyhow, in this mobile RPG you get to create your very own character, which can slash enemies with swords or burn them with fire, and then you go into the world to see what kind of danger is waiting just for you.
The game runs smoothly, and you can switch between your apps and the game on the move. As you start crawling through more and more through an amazing dungeon you start seeing certain things. The combat system is really tricky and quite annoying. Any title that uses the touchscreen as a way to defend and attack won’t ever work as smoothly as other controllers, but it isn’t too bad. The overall pacing of the combat in Elder Scroll Blades seem awfully slow, it’s like you were playing Skyrim but everyone was moving 0.5 the speed.
