But, that doesn’t mean the developers gave up. No, they just returned to the first game and relaunched it as a free2play title. That’s right, you can download The Culling: Origins today from Steam and play it.
The Culling was actually quite a fun battle royale experience. It felt like PUBG, but less serious and more chaotic, and that made it much more enjoyable. The only problem was that the game didn’t actually have all that many players. Maybe that’s why it’s switching over to a free2play model. That always manages to bring in new people. When the game is free, anyone can try it if they want to. We think that this is a great decision, since we need more fun battle royale games on the market that are less serious and more chaotic and unpredictable.
Also, this relaunched version of the game also has a new art direction. It also has leveling, new weapons, a voice chat, and more. Honestly, it’s starting to look like that insane battle royale shooter that got a lot of attention once it first appeared. We don’t know about you, but we’re going to give the game a try.
