Tencent Bringing Fortnite To China

The battle royal extravaganza is climbing even higher, and big companies are looking for other markets and new audiences. Tencent is taking the most popular games from this genre, Fortnite, PUBG, and H1Z1, and taking them to China. We already knew from recent announcements that Tencent acquired the rights to publish both PUBG and H1Z1, and now we know that they’re also going to be publishing Fortnite, which is the current king of the battle royal games.

Fortnite

We can only imagine how much profit Tencent is going to make in China, as it is a country where gaming is quite established. The game is only growing bigger, and now that it has a market in China, it will blow up even more, which is actually astonishing, as there seems to be nothing that can rival the success of Fortnite. Of course, every game has its good and bad moments, and even Fortnite can’t keep its hype forever. But, if it keeps expanding like this, it might just explode into a worldwide phenomenon, if it isn’t one already.

There is no exact date given at the moment as to when the game is supposed to come to China, but we do know that the players who pre-register for the game get a cool glider and by inviting three more people to play with them they get a unique falling effect as a reward.
