After several years of exile, Vampire: The Masquerade seems to be regaining its strength, as today a third project was announced using the foundations of the popular title.
The Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York is made by the Polish Draw Distance team, and the game is scheduled to be released on PC and Nintendo Switch in the last quarter of 2019. This Vampire adventure will build heavily on story and narration, making it rather similar to Telltale games.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York presents the conflict between two vampiric factions: the traditionalist Camarilla and the fiercely independent Anarchs among the iconic landmarks and night lights of The Big Apple. It’s a unique, atmospheric, single-player narrative experience, set in a rich, fully licensed, globally recognized universe of Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition. Coming Q4 2019 to PC and Nintendo Switch.
The story will focus on the conflict between New York clans. Because the plot is highly story-centered, building relationships, political influence, and loyalty will be important. The team behind the game will probably try to keep players engaged by introducing a myriad of choices that lead to different outcomes.
