Tekken 7 Input Lag Issue to be Fixed in Update
The PlayStation 4 version of Tekken 7 has been plagued by an issue that occurs under certain circumstances. There appears to be around eight frames of input lag on the PS4 version of the recently released fighting game, therefore making the Xbox One and PC versions more stable to play.
This is a problem in particular for those who are playing Tekken 7 competently, as the lag can be the difference between winning and losing. However, it only happens on certain hardware configurations, so it doesn’t necessarily affect all players of the game.
Tekken 7 director Katsuhiro Harada has recently stated on Twitter that this issue will be resolved, assuring fans that the lag is hardware related, not software related. Despite this, Bandai Namco have stated that they are issuing an update this week as the issue was causing certain devices to register a higher input lag.
The tweet states: “We’ll also update PS4 input lag (Actually it only occurred with certain wired pads) You should be able to experience it with next update.”
Tekken 7, developed by Bandai Namco and presenting the latest entry in the critically acclaimed fighting franchise, is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game also supports PS4 Pro, and will support Xbox One X upon the console’s eventual release.
