NetherRealm studios has revealed the new characters that will be joining the previously announced Atom and Enchantress will be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Injustice 2.
The PC version is set for release next week on November 14th, with a trailer being revealed announcing the new TMNT characters, which you can see below:
This reveal came during the Injustice 2 Championship playoffs, where the DLC characters were confirmed to be joining the likes of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman as well as the rest of the DC based roster. The Atom will become available from November 12th, with the rest of characters to follow.
Needless to say, it is quite a surprise to see the pizza-loving turtles make their way into Injustice 2. They have had quite a promising presence in the DC universe, particularly in crossovers with Batman in comic book form.
What we do know is that all four members will be fighting at the same time, though the trailer only shows off a CGI cutscene. There won’t be enough room to bring six characters into the roster in one DLC pack, so it makes sense for them to all fight together.
Injustice 2 is now available on Xbox One and PS4, and will arrive on PC next week,.
